5 Traps to avoid when buying a computer

Do not waste your money on your next purchase of equipment

Eager to take advantage of announced prices that seem great bargains, people often end up losing their money making these common mistakes when buying a new computer:

1. Neglect of memory. In order to reduce the price to the bone, providers are rarely sufficient memory in the reference product. It is not sufficient memory is 512 MB. 2 GB (2030-2048) is a good base for a team of home or Office. If you are going to buy a team for a "gamer", then, start with 4 GB.
Recommendation: always add more memory.
-Compliance with the law: Even if you think only perform basic tasks such as e-mail and word processing with spreadsheet occasional pulled in, the performance of the system they will be affected. Simply criticism requiring Windows, Office and other programs regularly apply security updates affect your system performance significantly, over a period of months, if you don't have enough memory to start with.
2. Ignorance of processor. Apart from the memory on the computer (item 1), processors have their own memory. The lack of sufficient memory in a processor may be the source of much frustration with a computer. Constant roadblocks or freezing, applications that run out of memory, even strange behavior of printing can be symptoms of a processor which lacks sufficient memory.
Recommendation: If the equipment will be used for very light Internet browsing and processing of texts or perhaps to balance your checkbook, then by all means, a Sempron or Celeron (TM) is the processor you need. If plans to have more than two applications open simultaneously and use the computer more vigorously (word processing, spreadsheet multi-tab Internet or windows and email open at the same time) then you need a more robust processor.
-Compliance with the law: A front of bruises and bloody from hitting his head against the wall in frustration. The cost of a completely new team. It cannot replace only the processor at a later date.
3. Units of CD/DVD that does not write or aren't fast enough. Another form of suppliers reduce the price of a team is to provide a slower, read only CD/DVD drives. DVD media have a much greater than the CDs storage capacity, so make sure that you can always type in the DVD drive.
Recommendation: Always make sure that you can write higher capacity storage media. Sometime you need to write to the backup of your data device, including any music that can be downloaded. Please note that the only way songs of backup you are downloading is to make a music CD or a DVD. Simply copying the files on a drive flash or other storage device won't you play again should lose the originals for some reason (for example, to update the software).
Breach of the law: could cost real dollars in the long term. If it is music or data, it is necessary to perform backup copies. Sometimes you want to share something with another user of the computer and won't want to part with your flash drive for this purpose.
4. Failure to the package of Office products with the purchase of equipment. Exceptionally low prices teams do not come with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook or any other Microsoft Office product. Some come with another Microsoft Office product, a product that is not fully compatible with Microsoft Word or Microsoft Works. If you ever plan to exchange a word processing or spreadsheet with no one file, you will need one or more of the Microsoft Office products. Buy what you need with the team.
Recommendation: Always buy Microsoft Office products with the team when it gives you the opportunity. Cost savings are considerably better than going to the store and purchase separately.
-Compliance with the law: I could spend a couple of hundred or more $ would be if he had bought the products of Office than necessary with the team. The difference in cost is definitely important.
5. Spare no with the monitor. Buy the largest and highest resolution flat screen which can afford. Once again, these are offered often at a significant discount when accompanied by a team. We still have to listen to someone expressing regret to buy a monitor that was "too big". Your eyes will thank you.
Recommendation: high-resolution flat panel displays are the path to follow and are almost always cheaper when bought with his team. Buy the best you can afford.
Breach of the law: remorse of buyers and the "tired eyes". If you work in a team of more than one couple of hours a day, I regret not spending a few dollars extra on a good monitor. The cost of upgrading to one higher resolution, more large monitor at the time that originally the purchasing team is much lower than having to buy a new monitor at a later date. It is not the place to try to save a few dollars.

Avoid these common errors greatly can increase the useful life of the equipment and improve your computing experience.

The decision to buy an extended warranty, antivirus and anti-spyware with the computer software are independent issues.
