Which teams of single plate?
When most people think of computers, the image of a PC or a laptop comes to mind. Some will even remember teams of 1960s and 1970s football field size before the onset of the PC. Very few people would teams of single plate image, even if there was one sitting right in front of them! A team of single plate is the terminology used for a printed circuit board containing a processor, memory, I/O (input/output) and a clock. Teams of single plate (aka SBC) resemble the motherboard contained in a typical PC, but include all the elements of a basic team within its small design. Since the beginning of the 1980s, the technology behind this type of equipment for industrial manufacturing and computerized product design has been used to implement basic characteristics of the high-tech product processing functions.
Use of single plate equipment
Also commonly as embedded computers, Board teams only are used in products of aircraft and rocket ships, toys and shoes of high performance. Almost everyone uses equipment of single plate without being aware of its existence. Most products that use technology of computing (such as machines of fax, cameras, cell phones, etc.) contains only plate integrated teams. While these small teams can host an operating system like Windows XP full size, most SBC has internal operating systems which take up much less space. Simpler operating systems is equal to a lower cost per team. Software for single board computers is usually contained in a system of memory flash or a ROM chip. Indicators of quality for systems single Board include the performance of the processor, compatibility of I/o, SSD storage and wireless capabilities.
Pros and cons of single plate equipment
There are advantages and disadvantages in the use of the SBC for industrial upgrading and product. Decide whether to implement the board computer technology only is largely a matter of necessity of the application and the cost. Some of the deciding factors in using them include:
+ Pro: Current technologies have increased the ability of the team of plate only, reducing its size and cost.
+ Pro: Wireless technology has made it possible for easy internet access through SBC.
+ Pro: The competitive market has much expanding the options and functions available in the SBC.
+ Pro: Team advanced technology offers reliability for industrial manufacturers and products of quality through supplier of the SBC.
-With: Incorporation can be expensive for applications and high-volume products.
-With: Some applications require custom sizes or I/o functions are not compatible with the standard of the SBC.
Single board computer technology
While all SBC is built using similar standards, different technologies can be included with individual SBC. Capacity of video, functionality and digital equipment for Ethernet access technologies are just some of the features that can be incorporated in a single computer. In general, SBC can be as simple or as complex as required by an application. In addition, additional hardware as backplanes and mezzanine structures can significantly increase the functionality of a single plate team.
