HP's Envy series of laptops have been out for some time. The last major refresh of the system was when Intel released its second generation Intel Core i processors in spring of 2011. Since then, prices have dropped and HP has decided to upgrade various features in their retail version of the 17-inch laptop. Has HP done a good job of keeping the features of their flagship consumer laptop relevant or is it time for them to seriously consider revamping it?
